A schlocky B-movie from Jack Arnold, the director of Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Incredible Shrinking Man and It Came From Outer Space. A few more stills…
Jack Arnold is already a “thumbs up” criterion. I definitely have to look if there is a “Jack Arnolds greatest hits” DVD box somewhere…
This looks fun. I’ll have to give this a shot! Jack Arnold’s Tarantula is legitimately one of the best giant creatures movies from the golden age of giant monster movies. (Incidentally the worst is The Giant Claw and has Mara Corday as a lead scientist in both. If you like schlocky movies, definitely try it).
The Giant Claw is fun to watch with friends on a bad movie night: a pizza, a couple of beers, and an atrocious looking antimatter bird. 🦅
