What is Dot Browser

Dot Browser is a new private open source web browser based on Firefox (Gecko).

Why did they base it on Firefox

They based it on Firefox because they did not want to contribute to the growing market share of Chromium because Google is not a good company.

What are the advantages

Dot Browser has some privacy tweaks to Firefox and are constantly talking to the community about how to make it more private but as well as that it has a unique design which looks modern.

What platforms does Dot support?

Mac, Linux, Windows. Android is coming soon.
