Maybe, though I understood the reason RB renewed Perez in the first place was because they were afraid Carlos and Max competing each other would be lead to a Gasly-Ocon situation, so he may be waiting for a seat that will never be offered to him.
People keep saying about how their dads hate eachother, but Jos and Horner also hate eachother, so I honestly don’t see Christian giving a shit, especially if it means he gets a solid second driver.
Just remains to be seen whether RB wants Sainz or whether they want someone who definitely won’t even attempt to battle Max, imo
