    Tldr. Really fancy document scanner which automatically categorizes documents for you (incl. IDs, Passports, Library Cards etc.)

    I thought it was a RFID and NFC scanner which would let you save stuff like transportation cards to your phone. That would be a killer feature but probably impossible due to how these card are designed

      The security of these cards relies on them being difficult to clone without the central authority providing the system to do so.

      Hopefully more public transportation rolls out their pass onboarding into Google Wallet, Apple Pay, etc.

    @neme So you can scan any document in Google Wallet, and scan any document in the Files app as well, and in Google Drive. Thanks, Google, for another round of service duplication!

    This is neat, but I’m still waiting for pkpass support. It’s so annoying apple has a standard format for passes and google doesn’t and also doesn’t bother to support them even though their more widely used.

      Hmm? This has been working for me the past week. I downloaded some pkpasses since my flight only offered the “Apple” download, and it imported and was usable on Android.
