It’s Isack Hadjar. He also mentions Arvid Lindblad but not Liam Lawson?

Lawson has fallen into a classic F2 trap: timing. He’s been waiting in the wings for a seat, now other talents are top of mind and he’s not had any chance to impress in the last couple of months.

Lawson has fallen into a classic F2 trap: timing.

Neither Perez nor Ricciardo made a case to keep them for 2025, so two seats are available, so both Lawson and Hadjar are perfect fits.

The problem is that Lawson seems to be that he’s Helmut Marko’s boy. Who’s in whose camp seems to be a bigger factor than talent at Red Bull.

Yeah, Tsunoda to RBR and the other two to VCARB. While I don’t think that Tsunoda would survive next to Verstappen, he deserves a chance to prove himself and possibly surprise his doubters.

I would be fucking thrilled if Yuki could hang at Red Bull, and honestly I think his average finish would go up into the bottom half of the top ten, occasionally getting close to or on the podium.

The job description for Checo’s seat is to be Max’s support driver. RBR are looking for a driver that will follow team orders and consistently finish high enough in the points to guarantee them the constructors championship. Someone “good enough” that will systematically accept to give Max priority.

Tsunoda is an excellent driver that consistently performs exceptionally well and would certainly do much better than Checo, but his anger issues on the team radio over the last 3-4 years and what happened in Bahrain this year probably really hurt his chances for a seat at RBR. He’s just not building the right CV for the job.

Helmut Marko called Tsunoda their “problem child” a while back because he couldn’t keep his emotions in check. That’s probably how he’s still perceived internally at RB today with his continued outbursts.

I think red bull forget about him as well seen as he’s not in the picture to replace Perez
