But I can’t help but think that it comes across kind of exactly wrong. Chiles allegedly lost out on bronze because of her coach being too slow to lodge an appeal. In that way, offering Chiles a clock comes across a little like responding “time to buy a watch” when someone asks you what time it is.

I don’t mean this too seriously as criticism of Flav. More as a humorous observation. Even in that reading, it could be read as a sarcastic commentary on the FIG and CAS’s actions, anyway.
