Starlings
These are a couple of European Starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) that I saw one day while driving home from an appointment. I try to always have a camera with me. I thought that they were some sort of blackbird, but examining the photos, I see that I was wrong.
Despite what the next quote says, I’ve yet to see a starling at my feeders.

I don’t post all of the photos that I post here to my Pixels gallery, but I post the photos I like best. Some don’t make the cut. I usually wait a couple of days and see how I feel about it then.

@[email protected] I’ve never seen a starling at my bird feeders. That was in Colorado. I’ve never seen a starling in New Mexico.

Apparently, New Mexico is within their range.
