I'm sure you've all seen some of the more playful user reviews on Steam, but they're not exactly helpful for figuring out if you want to buy a game and so Valve have a new Helpfulness System they're testing.

    I’m totally for cleaning up the reviews and tags (if they’re not cleaned up already).

    Sure, meme/funny reviews can occasionally be helpful if you know what they’re about, but in general they’re just noise. And the “nobody will read this [confession here]” / “Pet the cat with thumbs up” / etc nonsense is just unnescessary clutter. Thank you Valve for finally adding filters for those.

    That would be a very good thing. I don’t even bother to read the reviews at this point. The average score is the only thing that offers an insight into how well received the game actually is.
