They’ve been ordered to update the operating system to make it uninstall a particular app.

This seems pretty mad, right?

They’ve specified a file-hash and a apk filename so.

What if the app-makers just release a new app, only the name has a “2” at the end. Is google required to uninstall that too? I guess not.

What if it’s a completely different name, and the code’s gone through an optimizer?

What it it’s a fork from another company which has some functions disabled?

How the hell can a court hope to keep up with this arms-race they have introduced?
