I have a pixel with one of those popular roms that doesn’t have proper google services, and use shelter to have a work profile where i have some google and meta apps

Is the work profile even needed? since Android 14 has better privacy controls you can choose which folder or individual photos an app can access, deny contacts access, deny other stuff, check mic and camera access… seems like the only benefit of work profile would be apps talking to eachother? if they even do that… reason its an issue is i have to copy things like photos across to the work profile each time i use social media etc. keen to hear your thoughts
