Just posting the highlights as a lot of the article is repeating known stuff, what was said by either party.
Jadon Sancho is training away from the Manchester United first team after he refused to apologise to manager Erik ten Hag, The Athletic can reveal.
The England international was subsequently asked to apologise to the manager but refused to do so, which has now resulted in the club taking action.
United declined to comment when approached by The Athletic.
Sancho has effectively been banished from first-team training and will not now be considered for selection, beginning with the visit of Brighton & Hove Albion to Old Trafford on Saturday, until there is a resolution.
United were open to selling Sancho to Saudi Arabia before their transfer window closed last week but the player declined to engage and instead flew to New York for a break.
What a waste of talent. He just doesn’t have the mental fortitude to play at the highest level.
Refusing to apologize? Out of all the reasons to get benched, that’s up there with the most immature.
