From what I’ve heard over the years they simply don’t see any return to their investment when looking at creating a new entry, which is a damn shame.
I wish it was different but very few big devs dare to take chances like that anymore.

Unrelated but the only Rival Schools game I ever played was the DC one.
Never really got into it, but bought the final PSone one on PS3 and I’m loving what I’m seeing from it.
