North #Korea has blown up roads linking it to South Korea, according to Yonhap.
Last week, North Korea’s military announced plans to cut off transport links between the 2 countries and told the U.S. #military to avoid accidental conflict.
@[email protected] I appreciate the threatening nature and so on, but I find it so amusing when what is actually a small and less than major power struts and stamps about the stage uttering dread threats to all and sundry. Lik a really small dog incandescent with fury baying at you from inside the house as you walk past in the street.
This act seems particularly insane because North Korea is dependent on the rest of the world to actually feed itself unless somehow they’ve had a miracle and agricultural output,
#Russia is planning new large-scale attacks on Ukraine’s energy #infrastructure as the winter sets in.
Despite this, Ukraine’s #energy sector has proven resilient with innovative solutions. It’s still unclear if #Ukraine is fully prepared for winter.
The #Russian ruble has fallen to almost 100 RUB per 1 USD.
This will benefit the state budget as Russia plans to increase spending despite the 9% decline in the ruble’s value following sanctions, Bloomberg writes.
