Karma imo is a bad feature and enables echo chamber opinions and also reminds me of reddit in a bad way, but I’m sure probably some people like it. But for me I would love a option to just disable till I forget about it.

Connect has this, and it’s useful for moderation too. Spam bots usually get downvoted and an overall count is useful.
Just have it be off by default if needed
