What do you guys think in terms of blender rendering with macbook pro m4 pro and a desktop pc with rtx 4080? Let’s say money is not a factor. Can a macbook m4 pro compete with a desktop pc or are they in an entire different league? I know that games are limited on mac but in terms of power what do you think?

I am new to the pc building world and I don’t know if I should build a pc with ryzen 7 7700x and rtx 4080 super or just sell my macbook m1 pro and upgrade to m4 pro. Other than gaming are the 2 options close or is the pc WAY more powerful? Maybe render a 1 min animation in 10min and on the macbook its like 10 hours or something like that.
