KTM’s parent company, Pierer AG, is in deep financial trouble as it blames economic conditions for its failings. But things are so bad, its latest financial release hints its possibly looking to sell a majority stake in the company.
Expensive bikes, many riders pushing them very hard and poor maintenance is a perfect receipe for failure as a brand.
My coworker maintains his like KTM is blackmailing him. And he still has had issues with the almost brand new bike.
Well, they could maybe try making a motorcycle that will remain operational for more than a distance of nine consecutive feet. Did anyone in the boardroom think of that?
I’m with you but it wasn’t always this way. It seems like this started happening after KTM got bought…
@blindbunny Tbf the bikes that sell the best are the absolute indomitable 390’s (Indian made). One of the few models that won’t have a leak…
Their newer bikes all seem to be the ones with issues. I’ll keep that in mind when I’m looking for a new one 👍
They’re just wheelie monsters I’ll always think of that when I see a 390 🏍️
