@[email protected] @[email protected] We use the standard install dialog in our own App Store to avoid mistakes with installing apps and because we can extend it with stuff like our Network toggle for apps requesting internet access.

For the Play Store, it’s because it’s running as a sandboxed app so our compatibility layer has to force it to do things in the standard way which requires confirmation for each app install. It can do fully automatic updates without confirmation for apps it installed/updated.
