Well, obviously every attempt at communism results in a dictatorship. To achieve communism, you firstly need a dictatorship but since it’s impossible to achieve communism, you will end up with socialist dictatorship. That’s why it sucks.

Not really, Russia went from an empire with kings /queens into a revolution into a “communjst” dictatorship.
China was similar but I think had a step in the middle, hence the split with Taiwan.
A monarchy is a dictatorship. It’s literally someone with absolute authority dictating how what happens in a country.
