pbo is set to eco limits, 88000,75000,15000
+200 core boost
per core negative co: 60,60,55,50,40,45
i used hwinfo with cpu snapshot polling and confirmed that effective clock=clock speeds, so no clock stretching
cpu cooler is a hyper 212 spectrum v3 with a silence optimized fan curve (could possibly bring temps down even further)
max temp in cinebench was 61C
case is a lian li x dan a3 matx
i did testing for many hours with:
corecycler, ycruncher, occt, unigine superposition, 3 different games, regular web browsing and use
i also have my hynix A die kit tweaked to buildzoid’s timings, and further lowered the trfc,trfc2,trfcsb, and tref, tested on testmem5 absolut for the full 3 cycle run
cinebench was run with high priority (open as admin)
what i need help with is with the ddr5 latency
i was previously using a 7600x in this same exact build, and it was getting a 58.8ns latency
i do not know what is causing this change of latency to 70ns
the only things that have changed since then:
windows 10 -> windows 11
newer chipset driver
same bios
same voltages and timings for ddr5 ram
even if i run this in safe mode, the latency stays the same (70ns~)
