Are Barrow QDC fittings defective?

I bought all the parts for an external radiator watercooled build. All of the fittings I bought are made by Barrow. I’ve heard they are good apart from the QDC fittings.

Apparently the Barrow QDC fittings have issues with flow. Has anyone bought them recently and can confirm?

I want to start building now but if I have to get new QDCs ill have to hold off for now.
