Hey all, I will be getting 1 gig fiber here shortly and am wondering what the best solution to my issue will be. I have a 2 story home that’s about 3000 sqft and is currently wired with cat 5. My issue is that I cannot run a hard-line from where the fiber enters the house to the hub of the cat lines in the house currently. It’s about 40ish feet from where the fiber line comes into the house. So my question is if I should bother with a mesh system to cover that distance or if just using regular wifi from one router to another and then using the current lines in the home will be fine.
