I am in absolute love with this movie. Style, quirkiness, slappy camp, and exploitation of whatever it takes to keep you interested.
It straight up reminded me of reading Preacher.
To paraphrase the director, if the scene can’t be scary, make it funny, if it can’t be funny, shock the audience.
