You must work in a role where your input is valued and you have a degree of autonomy, your calendar is a collaboration tool to work with other people.
Most jobs aren’t like that, and bosses will use your calendar to micromanage you instead of supporting you
Just build a tower taller than the atmosphere, now you don’t need rockets because you have a space elevator.
It’s about direction of rotation, does the wrench turn left or turn right, there isn’t the same notion of up and down / in and out because that portion happens when the bolt or nut turns. Also, anything rotation is moving the opposite direction on the other side of the rotation, so if you have to tighten a screw that turns towards you it’s the opposite
I remember having a demo for giants: citizen Kabuto, it was a weird and fun third person shooter. The thing I remember most is the initial quest giver guy and the way he would say “huuungry” something about it stuck in my brain
We found a used older one, used it just about daily for a couple years before my dumb ass left it in an oven that was too hot (some old ones only got to like 400F apparently) and caused a bunch of cracks. We messaged le cruset and after sending them some pictures and a sob story they sent us a brand new one.
Doesn’t need to be a new one or le cruset, enameled cast iron is just nice generally in my experience
Enameled cast iron is definitely a thing, our le cruset Dutch oven is a work horse
The reason it’s relevant is that most working people do not earn salaries, they earn hourly rates. I’m a welding engineer earning a salary, working with maintenance men and welders and operators who all earn hourly rates. Every company I’ve ever worked for has both salary and hourly and also an HR department.
The situation you are describing does not align with the vast majority of working people’s experiences.
Not defending either side, but how often do hourly employees get raises based on performance at your wife’s company? You say performance should lead to salary increases, but what about the majority of people who only make hourly rates?
That’s a lot of words to say the government should stop helping people in need and we should beg the wealth hoarders for help.
If the state provides a service, taxes paid for it. Are taxes theft?
This seems really neat. So like when you shine light through things like water or glass or air the energy of the photons actually kinda get absorbed by the molecules and transmitted by them resulting in a slowing down a tiny bit, usually. It seems like they may have found some combinations of photon wavelengths and atomic resonance frequency that results in speeding up a tiny bit instead of slowing down
On a related note three brown one blue has a neat video explaining what phase shifting is and kind of why it happens https://youtu.be/KTzGBJPuJwM
The real question is how much does it cost, but then again compared to knee and hip replacements…
Making them deal with the linguistic juggling of the Fey is how to have fun with rules lawyer players
Should be holding a flood, there’s even an outtake from one of the voice actors.

IThere’s a pretty simple way to test the alarm, make it go off when your awake and waiting for it. Say the current time is 11:57, set the alarm for 12:00 and sit and wait for it to go off.
It’s really just poker solitaire with a bunch of math added to flavorful bonus cards, if you’re not really into poker, solitaire, or math it isn’t going to be the right game for you.
I have a buddy that hates RNG, mostly plays shooter games, he hates poker in all its forms because of the randomness but I feel like learning to deal with probably and chance are really good lessons that apply to broader life.
Nuts used to be a main staple of my diet, until I met my wife. My wife has a severe peanut and tree nut allergy, we have to check the ingredients on everything because anything that says “may contain” or " made on shared equipment" is potentially a trip to the hospital and just not worth the risk. Soft serve is some of the only ice cream she can have when we go out because of potential cross contamination from the scoop. We have to ask everyone what kind of oil they fry in if we go out to eat.
Mostly we don’t go out to eat, we just cook for ourselves and are very diligent about checking ingredients and the allergy warnings. I’ve bought chocolates and all kinds of stuff, even lentils one time, that I read through the ingredients and didn’t see any nuts or anything, but somewhere not near the ingredients is the allergy warnings saying may contain and I missed it.
It’s all worth it.
Two cats, both have their own annoying thing. Black short hair bob tail: will get into any and all food if left out. Has learned to open cabinets and cupboard to get to hidden food. Has chewed through a cardboard box to chew through the bag of dog food, found him neck deep in the bag crunching away. Has chewed a hole in a canvas bag to get to dog food. Oh, and recently started peeing in the laundry. Long haired colorful: gets bored and wants to go outside, will wander the house screaming at the top of his lungs, clawing at every door. Happens anywhere between midnight and 3am, almost every night. Will bolt for the door if you have it open and aren’t watching for him. Where does he want to go? Rolls on his back in the road.
I’ve always loved this movie even if the “science” behind restarting fusion in the sun was nonsense
