Judging by the way they spelled “teeny,” I can’t help but wonder if they might also be familiar with the Cyrillic alphabet

leave it to tarantino to understand that spider man needs to start saying the n word
Lol I never really though of it like that. That is almost morbid, isn’t it?
That system is more commonly used at airports throughout the US, and I believe it’s widespread internationally, too. Why the fuck don’t we just have frequently running trains that have a stop at airports? I know my local airport technically has a bus service, but they only move directly between there and downtown (an hour away) and only during specific times of day.
Ehh being annoyed at someone else for being an asshole isn’t equivalent to being annoyed that someone else exists. You don’t seem hypocritical to me
honestly it’s kinda fitting. if witches were real you just know that harry potter would be a total bastardization of their culture and practices
how did my parents miss my neurodivergence i have no idea
90% of the time it’s willful ignorance. That or (assuming you’re in the US) not having the means to pay for treatment, so it’s easier to not get a diagnosis in the first place.
I’ve worked repetitive, hot, boring jobs before, but I don’t know how the people working those trucks can keep their sanity with that music on repeat. I get sick enough of Christmas music in stores after hearing them like twice, and the blaring of an ice cream truck is 100x worse!
One just started coming through my neighborhood like 2 weeks ago, and there’s a kid a few houses down who seems to always be ready to run out and stop the truck. Takes easily 10+ minutes for the music to fade out. Like, I hate to be a grumpy old man, but that music drives me fucking nuts! I’m on the verge of trying to beat the kid to the truck just so I can bribe the guy to drive away as fast as possible

Maybe because afghans arent a fucking alien race unaware of the existence of other peoples
I think the twitter screenshot is fake. I tried to look up JaydenSmithish through nitter and it says user not found
Also, the posts were made exactly 1 month apart. This is wack
Edit, wait, I think the twitter screenshot is fake. I tried to look up JaydenSmithish through nitter and it says user not found
Water gives you heartburn? I’ve never heard of that, that’s odd. I occasionally get heartburn but oddly enough, it usually means I’ve been sitting down too long. Certainly it’s exacerbated by stuff like pizza or too much coffee, but in any case, simply standing up for a few minutes helps me a lot.
I find that simply drinking a few gulps of water often grants fast relief. Maybe not the best solution right before bed though lol
“Forcing” would be more accurate. “Helping” is a very pointed choice of words here, as that would imply supporting science. Maybe they could start by not promoting policies that reduce access to IVF.
i dunno, i think there’s a pretty good chance the wsj just bends over and issues a retraction and apology without ever going to court, so trump gets to claim another legal “”“win”“”
I remember I rarely cried as a teen. On one of the rare occasions I did (I was stressed about school), my dad told me to suck it up and would periodically tease me about it for months afterward. My mom, meanwhile, told me verbally it was ok to cry, but if I ever actually tried to come to her to vent about anything, she would brush me off immediately.
Cut to well over a decade later, living on my own, it’s really helpful to cry. Unfortunately we live in a culture where if you, as a man, cry in front of others, you’re likely to lose respect even if you’re literally in mourning. I teared up when the whole thing with Angella happened in She-Ra, I wept for hours when Trump got elected again. I cried on and off for a long time after my best friend of over 15 years ghosted me out of nowhere, but it was always alone (except for once, which I deeply regret. That’s a long story but it did reinforce what I’m saying).
If another man came to me to cry about something, I wouldn’t want to discourage him, but I’m not sure I would even know how to react.
I didn’t mean good digitals didn’t exist, but that analog camaras were still very common. And they were. The overwhelming majority of teens in the aughts would know very well what polaroid was
The aughts?? Surely that must have been a particularly ignorant teen, or they were messing with you. High quality phone cameras were far from ubiquitous then. My phone had a camera but I was still buying disposable ones at CVS before going on trips so I could get high quality photos all the way through the aughts. And if that teen is in their mid 30s now, I’m still younger than them…
