Yeah I just opened a lemm.ee account. This sdf one has been a bit buggy.
Damn, thanks all. That was my primary account. Doesn’t look promising!
Yeah they’re all really good and improving quickly. People are comparing mature stable reddit apps to alpha lemmy apps. Boost and sync will be buggy at the beginning and will get better.
I’ve been mostly using my vlemmy account the last week, since sdf was buggy. But now sdf is working and vlemmy is down.
It’s nice having options
If you’re wondering how to donate, like I was-
I don’t like that you can’t see your own or others profiles on Thunder yet. Wefwef is relatively laggy but it’s features are better implemented
Not yet, I don’t think
Replacement happens at the stall level, not location level. There are a lot more NACS stalls than CCS.
I think with Ford and GM adopting NACS, CCS1 is dead in the US. It’s just a matter of time until CCS plugs will be replaced and older cars will need to use an adapter.
I’m just happy that there will be a single standard. I’d have preferred that it wasn’t the one that tesla can exert some control over, but it is a more user friendly connector.
I live in the NW and there’s plenty of charging options around here. I’ve never had a problem finding a charge driving my polestar around Oregon and Washington. That said this is probably a good move. The NACS connector is easily to handle and understand. I’m surprised that tesla is giving up their competitive advantage though.
Did you hit “save settings” at the bottom? I’ve forgotten to a couple of times
It’s not nearly as user friendly as reddit yet. People won’t spend the time to figure it out.
They didn’t ignore it, I saw stories about it in a couple of places. However you get your news, your algorithm figured you wouldn’t care.
What should the media have done? Ignore it? Just assume they were dead, even though the USCG and Navy didn’t make that assumption?
Fentanyl is certainly scary, but law enforcement folks really exaggerate the risk of incidental exposure. They’re so scared of it, they imagine the symptoms of intoxication. The DEA has guidance for first responders -
Fentanyl Safety Recommendations for First Responders - DEA.gov https://www.dea.gov/sites/default/files/Publications/Final STANDARD size of Fentanyl Safety Recommendations for First Respond....pdf
Maybe that’s my problem…
