Before you ask, the accent varies based on diet.

Yeah but that would also hold true for a skinnier wheel (part of why cargo bikes don’t use superfat tires),
That’s true, but skinnier tires would also let you get more range out of an equivalent battery on top of better acceleration.
It’s all a trade-off though, fat tires offer better vibration dampening/pseudo-suspension, and they are unmatched riding on sand.
If our data didn’t matter, they wouldn’t be harvesting it, never mind making obscene amounts of money with it. If our data didn’t matter, there would not be a multibillion dollar industry based entirely upon it.
YOUR data DOES matter, if it didn’t, why would they go to such lengths to gather it in the first place?
If Taco Bell makes you shit blood, you need medical attention.
Fat tires aren’t really necessary for anything but snow and sand and their motors aren’t any better than any other equivalent motor.
In fact, all other things being equal, fat tires are a little slower because they have more rotational mass. ~2" tires can handle most terrain with less weight, so they’re more efficient overall (but, if you are riding in sand then fat tires are absolutely the way to go).
Have you noticed if it uses a lot of proprietary stuff? I’d heard that criticism of this brand before.
At just under 40 lbs this seems like it would be viable to just ride if the battery died. My regular commuter/touring bike weighs almost that much with bags/accessories, not even counting water.
It comes with fenders, but they look pretty standard so you could probably put just about any that fit.
I’ve found the laser cut ones with super tiny holes are better than the regular mesh. There’s also micromesh but it’s more delicate.
There are also cloth options that might be better.
I was joking but, maybe go find the worst bigot you know, and do it from their computer?
No it’s not, because I use a stainless steel capsule and loose leaf tea, which is superior in every way (even if microplastics weren’t an issue).
If you don’t make your tea like this, do yourself a favor and upgrade to some quality loose leaf!
Edit: lol, I love that this is getting downvotes. Are there disposable teabag enthusiasts out there?
Just click there and tell them it shouldn’t be blocked.
I am sure they’ll listen!
Cool, thank you!
Yeah, we’ve got some T-decks and so far it’s only been a novelty and the intended purpose is just so we can text from a decent distance if infrastructure goes down. Will probably also see some occasional use camping as a backup for our radios with a T-beam attached to a bear bag up in a tree as a relay.
I’ve already got some gear and there are a few other nodes around, but basically all it is currently is an emergency backup for texting family members if the Internet and cell service go down. I’d like to start making some cooler stuff like maybe a weather/sensor station and maybe even some online stuff, but I’ve got so many half-done projects I’m hesitant to start another one lol.
Hey Spongebob, I don’t know if you’re reading this but if you don’t receive enough tips, your employer is legally obligated to make up the difference (at least in America, not sure where your pineapple under the sea is located).
A lot of things, but at least it got rid of insurance companies denying people over pre-existing conditions.
long-winded sigh
I really ought to set up that community meshnet I keep thinking about setting up…
Not sure, but the message that it is not secure is displayed on the website when you message anyone. I would presume that anyone who knew what they were doing and wanted to target you would be able to figure it out one way or another if they were determined enough.
