I would absolutely love it if the ref does a solid job in our game later on and after the win, during the post match interview, Mikel comes out and poignantly says what a pleasure it was to have said referee officiating.

Think best case scenario is the FA & the PGMOL make some half hearted empty statement about communication, respect and shite about officiating standards and don’t throw a ban at Mikel but nothing will actually change.
