I’m pretty sure English speaking cultures have always been this way
And us reading about it too
Genuine question (and I don’t know if you’ve gone down this rabbit hole) but does “el” in the context of Hebrew names refer to the concept of any god generically or was “el” the name of the one monotheistic god (before being combined with the monotheistic god with the other name) and the “els” in the names of the angels meant to be an attachment to the court of the one god in a similar way to “isra-el” being not another god but a kingdom/people bearing the name of the god it served (of course talking about biblical Israel and not the modern state).
Since gauche means “left” I’m pretty sure he’d have to got though a more radical change to be that way

If it makes him feel better, the Jewish delis were themselves appropriated from the Germans (and then made kosher) after large communities of Jews moved into the lower east side and liked the deli setup.

Reddit seems like a completely different site ever since, in my opinion. Am I the know one? Way more (seemingly) AI/chatbot generated content and comments, much more heavy handed top-down moderation, and basically a complete lack of both useful content and current events. The whole site seems completely artificial in a way it didn’t before (not saying it was 100% organic before). But maybe I’m imagining it.
More like 124 word to make up for your two word sentence.
Well, since most Zionists are Christian and the religious basis of Zionism is an evangelical reading of the new testament, this actually is pretty on the nose.
Historically, the Haredi (“ultra-orthodox”) Jews in and out of Palestine are anti-Zionist, which is why the Zionists and Zionist state hate them so much.
There is absolutely no way any of those other states would be part of something called the Florida Alliance

Yeah basically. It was a few bombings but they were coordinated with a mass PR campaign with Zionist immigration offices nearby and at the ready to get as many people to go before they figured out that their Muslim neighbors had nothing to do with the bombs. The mass-migration from Baghdad was especially tragic because it was one of if not the oldest continuous Jewish community in the world (established as a result of the Babylonian exile and predating the construction of the second temple).
Edit: spelling
So your ex-friend is one of the non-Yossarian characters from the book?
Just wait until you find out why Jews were afraid to keep living in Muslim countries in the 50s (even NATOpedia can’t avoid it) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1950–1951_Baghdad_bombings
