Usually you pay someone to look after your house and pets when you’re traveling for an extended period of time, not the opposite. I mean what if someone decided to rent the house for a month but said no to looking after the dog? They’d probably turn them down. They’re looking for a free petsitter under the guise of “reduced” rent.
