['98] I’m not a girl, sorry.
That’s amazing considering how Reddit was replacing search engines due to their capitalization and now needs a replacement due to its capitalization.
I didn’t notice because I haven’t been to Reddit. Good times. I thought of blocking this community but I want to support people doing the same. :)
Bottom looks better. It would be even better if you replaced the red buttons with blue (blue chrysanthemum shade).
I wish. I will keep complaining about them not paying mods. I just don’t get why it doesn’t even really get brought up.
Don’t you like… live with your wife…? sleep in the same room…? You should be the one with the answer. 😅
You can look at my profile to see I’ve been doing a lot. I opted my instance into all cat communities. I’m practically a messiah. UwU
Any info on their communities to subscribe to?
I would like more casual instances with less of a topic. Oriented towards users sharing their experiences, seeking feedback, venting and so on.
I muted all reddit related instances because I was tired of this and discovered there was essentially no content being posted outside of it. So I unblocked. I wish beehaw didn’t close itself off. They had some cool casual spaces. :/
I’m a video game tester. One game I work on makes millions a month on just one console platform. It makes sense for them to sell consoles at a loss considering the money they make later on.
Ohhh. I see. It’s empty like the other poster said. I’ll give it time. Thank you!
I wanted to add [email protected] but nothing happens. Any idea why it may be? :(
If they actually continue on their path of ensuring no ad blockers work on YouTube, I will simply cease watching it completely. I really hate how aggressive advertisement became over the years. I didn’t mind non-gore (because some ads shown really gruesome health issues) and non-porn side panels which didn’t animate. Hell, sometimes I’d click if they had what would interest me. There is absolute zero chance I will buy anything which bothers me. And I won’t let it waste the time of my life.
All capitalistic entities aim for a monopoly so they can fully dictate the terms to maximize their profit. I was actually only using the Reddit app and liked it, especially since the update. What I didn’t like was banning anyhow good subs for thought crime and the forever lowering standard of content. Hell, I started getting soft porn in popular in spite of not opting into NSFW. The exodus to Lemmy gave me the perfect reason to fully commit to Lemmy. c:
Good. He should replace them with paid ones.
I find it funny how Twitter got many people to move to federated Mastodon and inspired Reddit owner also is getting people to move to a federated instance. More power to the people. :)
Doesn’t Microsoft do the same (i.e. killing the Windows phones)? It really kills any incentive for me to buy their products. I feel safer actively avoiding them. It used to be you felt safer buying from big names because they were here to stay. Surely enough, companies are but the products aren’t and customers turn into victims.
I do agree they should replace the mods who do the strikes. The mods should’ve quit out of principle. They will go back to modding as usual soon if they haven’t already to fill their need for the sensation of power. They’re doing unpaid work for a for profit organization. I’d like all the mods to quit and for Reddit to have to pay for moderation or face the consequences. But I don’t care about the third party apps at all. I’m just perplexed by mods letting themselves get exploited like that.
Is Reddit just a liberal recruitment zone?
If you cannot exist in spaces displaying different political opinions without feeling affected you either are a child and therefore easily molded or the ideas speak to you on a fundamental level. If neither is true then you can just ignore it, no?
Finally an app where I can speak of Linux! People of Grindr weren’t interested. :(
