Pretendo here. Sorry, but this comment has been removed for the reasons of “slander” as stick drift has never existed in our products in the first place.
Do. Not. Resist. The cease and desist.

A quick rundown.
Basically they make a reddit account, let it age like milk. You know, keep it in the basement with 0 post history of any kind for half a year or so. Maybe multiple. Than they activate it, it spam posts, and it never responds to users like a human would. Even stealing comments and such.
Those are the main symptoms. OP not responding to being called a bot is especially the major red flag most use.
Edit: When I say OP, I’m using it to refer to reddit users in this case. Not the OP of THIS post. For him, thank you for the laughs:)
I sometimes go back to reddit to see what’s happening to it. Yup. It’s shitting itself.
Bot accounts everywhere in both comments and posts. It’s so common in fact that you just need to scroll a small post to figure out either OP or the commenter is a bot. also chugs Lemmy
Thankfully, Lemmy knows how to pump us full of bot-free content and have us asking for more.
I think deadspace 1 and 2 were really immersive and world building. The UI didn’t feel like one. Your HP? It’s on your spine. Literally! It made sense too if you work with others, as it let’s them know if you feel like poo underneath the suit without needing to do anything risky.
Ammo? Literally on the side of the gun.
Grimm’s Hollow. It’s free and has 0 micro transactions. Enioy my friend:]
Comment wouldn’t change. This community is about cats, if it was a Russian dude holding one I could care less.
We are here, because cat go brrrrr
Different Lemmy apps have different upvote buttons, soon. We will do a mild amount of tomfoolery and a massive amount of horsing around with this knowledge :trolling.jpg:
Me, omw to do a little trolling by using Kelvin instead
This proves why we need to regulate that digital or not, games we purchase are considered our property. Not at the mercy of deletion for zero reason. Otherwise, pirate away for all I care guys. If they treat us like this, fuck’em and their sales.
Tbf. It’s not exactly the first time large companies/corporations decided to burn other companies down if legally allowed with little to no consequence when possible to reduce competition.
Criticism is when you say what is wrong with something, and how to possibly improve it. Obviously, you don’t need to repeat it 500 million times.
Real harassment is when one literally sends death threats. That’s not ok at all. It’s a game, go touch grass is what I’m saying.
As for the rest of you who don’t send death threats, your all good people and I wish you a happy day:)
“Other data” that it doesn’t specify. What’s next, my shoe size and sleep schedule?
Country, last name, and state. As well as my location directly basically. Nothing to be concerned about. Sure. Not at all. I’m not being sarcastic guys. We can totally trust a stranger who asks us where we live and know nothing about them.
Make a meme instance. Where every downvote AND upvote adds points whether its good or bad. Simply have the points called “sandwiches.” Don’t release it until next year on April fools.
The one benefit of Lemmy is that you can see the total upvotes and down votes. So if a comment has 5k up votes, you’ll also see that it has 4k down votes.
Rather than 1k up votes like on reddit. This makes it far easier to see if bullshit is being spewed rather than just bot spammed up votes as often. It makes bots less effective imo. But what do I know, I’m no social media developer lmao
This. It’s why I hope we don’t have any sort of Karma system on Lemmy.
Worst case scenario, you lose your chance at wizardry at the age of 30. Keep it at all costs friend.
The magic missile and fireballs are well worth it. Especially the spell “mend buttcrack”.
