That’s very helpful thank you, who’d have thought that thinking about it in terms of labour would make it click? I’ll give it a reread and put what you said in my notes
Thank you for clarifying, I got quite in my own head with it but that helps clear it up
“Use values cannot confront each other as commodities, unless the useful labour embodied in them is qualitatively different in each of them.”
Is there any use in thinking about commodities with overlapping use values, (like gold and silver) as in the same category but with different qualities? Or should I just think about them as different commodities all together? Does it even matter either way?
This might be controversial to say on this website so sorry if I offend anyone,
but I don’t think you should be able to take large, wild jungle cats into any establishment, be they het or ace or gay.
edit1: downbears? really? Real mature.

I found this to be a good video on the subject https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrMiSQAGOS4 also no one here is defending Russia when it comes to their human rights abuses
“If the mother thinks she is unable to handle being abused by the only people in the country allowed to employ violence due to her being a minor and autistic, why is she letting her go outside and socialize with her friends?”
I’m quite far behind but still determined, thanks for the threads
