Just someone who likes artwork, open source technology, and cute bunnies.
I’m also on Lemmy.ml and Beehaw
Just checked now. Awesome to see, approved now :)
Awesome! Approved :)
Great! Approved now.
Hi! If you’re here for modding then I can get that approved, just say any experience ya got if applicable.
The community is on the smaller side right now so it’s not a TON of stuff, but it’s pretty much just making sure posts are within the right guidelines and curbing spam. This also allows for verifying others as mods if and when more arrive to this post assuming theyre up for it. There’s more to it with a larger group but right now there’s not that much.
There’s a lot of great resources and game recommendations that often slip beneath the cracks with Pico 8, so I’d say that’s a great idea.
Wow that looks awesome :O
Certainly puts the Cheer in Cherio.
Don’t have one on my end but always was interested in the field, currently following the VPX Standalone project which focuses on porting that software into cross platform capabilities, so OS like Mac and Linux, it’s not all the way there yet but it’s making good progress. ^^
I absolutely love that. ^^
That’s why I put it up here ^^
Not me in particular no.
Was just about to make a community here but guess I don’t have to lol.
Pico 8 is basically a “fantasy console”, definition is tough to define but its basically its own micro console but not tied to any physical hardware, tho people have made those with raspberry pi’s
As for recommendations, this video by Superclass gives good examples Here
But a few I can give is
Among many others. All the free ones are browsable in the BBS as well as using Splore in the program itself.
Sorta, Got a bunch of the more niche communities I was in made, with only two exceptions. I believe in being the change I want made, but I"m hardly experienced as a moderator so it’s a new adjustment. They’re also existing communities so some mods usually have issues with that, though I’m always open to give mod status when relevant.
Semi related but I got a bunch of communities on the .ml instance, is it worth it to try and get em going in .world as well or is it fine as is for now? .ml’s still currently down when I write this so I want to make sure I have the best practices down.
Alternatively, [email protected]
I got a buncha communities setup though I’m still debating on the best way to share em, since obviously don’t wanna go all on the self promotion stuff and all, but engagement always helps out.
Haven’t fully left yet, just waiting for data request exports to come in then I’m out since I already got the communities I’m in setup and wiped my posts, but pretty much what you’d expect.
I used Infinity as opposed to Apollo but same idea applies, I only ever used that or old.reddit, never the new site, so those going away was already a deal breaker for me, but their recent actions beyond that just further motivated me to go full speed ahead on this.
I’m still lurking in case of any interesting communities that could go here, I spotted about 5 different cat sub’s I can list for that, and I’m still waiting on my data to get sent over, but after that then I’m gone for good.
Lmao same, most of mine aren’t super huge but there’s a lot of em.
Welcome :), all the help we can get the better.
