They don’t need it, but the US government happily provides it.

Scratch a liberal, my friend, and you know the rest.
This person you’re discussing would’ve voted in New Jersey, which was overwhelmingly won by Harris. You’re totally discounting a valid frustration with Liberals who follow a politics of aesthetics instead of policy. Things probably will be much worse for the Palestinians with Trump, but there has been zero evidence the situation would’ve gotten any better under Harris. There’s been an ongoing genocide with no stop in sight for over a year and the US is actively funding it right now.
The guy linked a Wikipedia article on Socialism after you sent him to Verso Books. The brain is so smooth on that one.
“Rabbidly pro-union” and “as left as they come”, no doubt lol.
Doubt Leavenworth is large enough to hold 'em all.
Copious amounts.
Played a whole lot of Wingspan this past week. Taught it to two different groups. First was my copy with all the expansions minus Asia. Second was a friend’s base edition. It remains a game I don’t love, but don’t mind playing. Also, played the first Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards game, which was pretty cool. Learned how to play Pollen, so looking forward to playing that soon. Most fun and interesting game I played was a solo one, surprisingly, called Resist! about fighting back against the Franco regime during the Spanish Civil War. Thematically, something I’m very interested in anyway, but the gameplay is tough and enjoyable.
Heat, Cat in the Box, and boop are my favorites I’ve played from this list. I didn’t care for Endless Winter at all. Flamecraft was fine, but would only play it if someone really wanted to.
Unfortunately, the rich and powerful have never been held to the same standards as the rest of the populace. Not specific to this shithole country, but it’s nothing new. Don’t get hung up on the “rule of law” being dead; it’s always been applied differently to different groups.
Had the same thought.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
I think I made it to book 6 and just stopped. I was utterly bored by that point.
After finishing Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr, I started his collection of short stories, The Shell Collector. For non-fiction, finished The Spanish Civil War: A Very Short Introduction by Helen Graham and began Blackshirts and Reds by Michael Parenti.
I joined when it was rebranded the ImagiNation Network (INN). Played Red Baron and Shadow of Yserbius. Ahh memories.
Needs more “Scare Quotes”. Absolutely baby brained.
