They want politicians to listen and act and thought Trump would do that. No, they weren’t paying attention the first go-round, but Trump got their emotions.

At yet after 4 years of Trump not actually doing jack or shit to help them, and promising to do worse the next time, they voted for his ass again. Voting on emotions and not on policy (on both sides of the isle) is exactly why we are where we are today and it’s not an excuse. People need to educate themselves. You want to remain ignorant and vote based on your feelings? Fine, but don’t call me hateful when I call you a moron. I’m not doing it to be mean, I’m doing it because you are a moron.

True now as it was 8 years ago.

“True”. Yeah. As someone born, raised, and currently living in a shit hole red state I can say that there is a grain of truth in that article, but homeboy misses the entire forest because he’s jerking off the trees. Let’s take a look at some of his claims.

We country folk are programmed to hate the prissy “elites”.

Absolutely that is a fact, let’s just ignore for a second that the vast majority of people in cities are struggling to survive just like they are and can hardly be described as ‘elites’ but ok. Who’s fault is their programming? Do ‘elites’ go around poor rural areas filling cracker minds up with how much they hate them or do their preachers, bosses and neighbors talk shit about ‘city folk’ because they are different and scary? They may get a little of column A by reading ‘big city’ newspapers or reading hot takes online, but they get a shit ton of column B shoved down their throats on the daily.

Blue islands in an ocean of red. The cities are less than 4 percent of the land mass, but 62 percent of the population and easily 99 percent of the popular culture. Our movies, shows, songs, and news all radiate out from those blue islands.

And if you live in the red, that fucking sucks.

Ok? The entertainment industry is a business just like any other, is anyone surprised they tend to focus on the 62% over the 38%? That wouldn’t make a hell of a lot of sense financially.

Also that 99% figure is an extreme amount of hyperbole. It might be 99% if you ignore the Billion+ dollar industry of folks singing about Shooting up Jukeboxes and how Sexy Tractors are, hell even Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Hootie, and Post Malone are making country albums. If you ignore hundreds of millions of Peckerwoods who get their ‘information’ from Fox “News”. If you ignore extremely popular right wing propaganda like Yellowstone and Landman and so on. There is plenty of content for ‘country folk’ to enjoy.

I never saw a family member, friend, or classmate be mean to the actual black people we had in town. We worked with them, played video games with them, waved to them when they passed. What I did hear was several million comments about how if you ever ventured into the city, winding up in the “wrong neighborhood” meant you’d get dragged from your car, raped, and burned alive. Looking back, I think the idea was that the local minorities were fine … as long as they acted exactly like us.

Oh well that’s all fine and cool then, It’s not racist if you wave to your local assimilated black person but talk about what savage murderers inner city blacks are.

The is a grain of truth in that if a black person living in such an area doesn’t act ‘too black’ or as was the case in my hometown if the one black family that was allowed to live there just so happened to have the star quarterback of the high school football team among it’s members, they are sometimes tolerated. These are the same enlightened people who told my mom that she had to kick my little sister out of the house because she had a mixed race baby and they ‘already had one group of blacks in town’, as if there was a quota.

Blacks riot, Muslims set bombs, gays spread AIDS, Mexican cartels behead children, atheists tear down Christmas trees. Meanwhile, those liberal Lena Dunhams in their $5,000-a-month apartments sip wine and say, “But those white Christians are the real problem!”

Holy shit, this sentence is exactly why I have no sympathy for good old fashioned country folk who refuse to pull their heads out of their asses. And yes once again there is a grain of truth here in that is exactly the attitude a lot of them have- but it also misses the point entirely.

Did he ever stop and wonder why the Black folks were rioting or actually give a single fuck about their reasons? No. Did he ever think that just maybe the U.S. Bombing Muslims for a century might have something to do with a couple of terrorists ‘setting bombs’? Did he ever blame all white people or all Christians for the more frequent acts of Terrorism perpetrated by White folks and ‘Christians’? Clearly not. Did he ignore every single news station in the 80’s and 90’s emphasizing the fact that AIDS was NOT a ‘gay disease’ and straight people spread AIDS even more than gay people? Apparently he did. Mexican cartels ‘behead children’, not like the kinder and gentler ‘white’ gangsters who just leave horse heads in your bed, fit you with concrete shoes and put a bullet in the center of your forehead. Did he ever stop and listen to the reasons that liberals gave for why White Christians were a problem? I mean, it’s not like Christians have ever done anything wrong like sexually assault their congregations, treat women as second class citizens, vote in politicians who sucked up to them but were actively making life worse for everyone, including them.

Don’t message me saying all those things I listed are wrong. I know they’re wrong. Or rather, I think they’re wrong, because I now live in a blue county and work for a blue industry.

Sure Jason, don’t strain yourself by actually thinking about whether something is right or wrong, just follow along side with whatever the people around you think. It’s much easier than having an actual opinion.

Try telling that to anybody who lives in Trump country.

They’re getting the shit kicked out of them. I know, I was there.

AND. WHO’S. FUCKING. FAULT. IS. THAT?!? Is it the “Liberal Elites” you have spent the entire article trashing, or is it maybe, JUST MAYBE the fucking politicians they vote for that cut funding for the social safety nets that would help the poorest among you keep their heads above water. Who vote to raise taxes on the poorest Americans so they can give tax breaks to the rich? Who vote to cut funding for education when we already lag far behind the rest of the world in that department? Who vote to ban books and whitewash history, keeping people ignorant of the past and doomed to repeat it? Who have kept the minimum wage at the same abysmal rate for the last 16 years? A minimum wage with half of the purchasing power it had in 1968 when America was supposedly ‘great’?

But no. Ignore reality. Ignore your best interest. Ignore the fact that it’s you who voted in a literal fascist dictator who wipes his ass with the constitution. Blame 'liberal’s for “being mean” to you, and then expect me to have sympathy for that.

Get all of the way the fuck out of here with that bullshit.

    Assholes Are Heroes

Yes, by all means. Prop up a literal Billionaire who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Who went to Ivy League schools. Who has never worked a day in his motherfucking life. Who has never once even went to a grocery store to do his own shopping. Who has had everything handed to him his whole life. Who is as Christian as Aleister Crowley. A man who is every single bit the ‘elite city folk’ that you just spent so much time trashing, who shares literally none of the values you spent so much time explaining. All because he is a fucking dickhead and hates the same people you do. Don’t stop and ask yourself if someone like that could possibly know or care about what it’s like to be a poor working class person. Don’t think about why he might be fighting against the very people who have been trying to help you. Just grab another chaw and grin while the leopard eats your face, and then whine on social media about how this wasn’t what you voted for.

It feels good to dismiss people, to mock them, to write them off as deplorables.

No actually it doesn’t feel good at all. You know what would actually feel really good? If they pulled their heads out of their motherfucking asses and paid attention for once in their life as if their actions mattered. That would feel amazing.

But you might as well take time to try to understand them.

Once more in case you missed it, I was born in Red Country. I was raised here. My family are mostly Trumpers. I understand them all too well, and I can tell you that the criticisms are 100% correct. They are a bunch of ignorant, racist assholes who don’t want to listen to anyone who looks different from them, and that is exactly the problem.

  • My very first blowjob was the best thing ever. I’ve never disliked them afterwards, but I can relate to what you are saying.

None of my other girlfriends had been into it, which was fine. I would never pressure someone into doing something that they didn’t want to do. Then I met this woman and we hit it off almost immediately. On our fist date I brought her a Red Rose and did my best to behave like a gentleman. This impressed her and she asked me to ‘wait until she was more comfortable with me’ before having sex, to which I happily agreed.

Over the next week I saw her several times, and each time our make out sessions would get more and more steamy. Finally just a week later it had been enough time. Turns out she was kind of a Nympho and waiting was just as hard for her as it was for me. She texted me at work to let me know and asked me to pick her up after I got off. On the car ride to my place she made a speech about how I shouldn’t expect blowjobs because she reserves that for very special people and she wasn’t going to be just anybody’s ‘Blowjob Queen’. I said that was fine with me.

I was all gross and sweaty from working a full day, and when we got back to my place I told her I needed to hop in the shower real quick before we got busy. She said that it didn’t matter to her and that she was ready to go. I insisted though because I didn’t feel sexy being that sweaty. I have never washed myself faster in life, but less than 3 minutes after getting in the shower she opens the shower curtain and was standing there in a black see through negligee, asking me what was taking so long. That finally convinced me that I was clean enough so I hopped out of the shower and said just give me 30 seconds to brush my teeth.

You can probably guess what happened next. Standing there in the bathroom with toothpaste still in my mouth and brushing like a madman, she decided to be my Queen after all. It was so hot, no one in life has ever made me feel as attractive and wanted as she did that night.

    I should have married her.

  • I would say that most Trump supporters don’t actually know what’s in the constitution beyond the 2nd amendment

That is almost certainly true. Good point.

If he were to directly say, “I don’t care about the constitution,” a lot of his supporters would denounce that.

“Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” Trump wrote in a post on the social network Truth Social

IDK how many MAGAt’s actually read Truth social, but that can’t be any more clearly stated.

if he tries to denounce the conspiracy, he will be denounced. But only time will tell if they will, or if he even needs them now that he’s in power.

He has denounced it, and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to reverse that position. I hope you end up being right by the way. I’m admittedly a pessimist.

  • Capitalism isn’t about anything other than keeping the ruling class rich and in power. How it chooses to do that has varied throughout time. During the 20th Century the lie was that “American Style” capitalism was fair because the capitalists would promote Laissez-faire style economics (“Free Trade”) out of their mouths, while actually building monopolies.

With the rise of Trump-style ‘conservatives’ Republicans have adopted a new strategy, Mercantilism. Mercantilism doesn’t even pretend to be fair or free. The word ‘Competition’ doesn’t even appear anywhere in that article because competition is bad for Capitalists and they see no reason to continue to lie about that. They actively oppose free trade.

Even if ‘Capitalists’ possessed the ability to feel shame for being hypocrites (which they certainly do not), calling them out for not following along with the principles of ‘the free market’ does no good since they have abandoned advocating for that a while ago.

  • These things aren’t as disconnected as you might think. Conspiracy theories often create a permission structure for bigotry.

Sure propaganda, misinformation, and disinformation (which includes conspiracy theories) play a role in ‘justifying’ the actions of disgusting politicians in the eyes of bigots. I’ve already said that Trumpets will swallow up just about any bit of horseshit fed to them if it fits their worldview. I’m just not convinced it works the other way around. Once you have used such tactics to get a fascist in power I think it’s much harder to ‘reverse course’ on that and use those tactics against the fascist. Especially in our current climate where people already have zero trust in ‘the other side’.

The people advancing the whole Epstein Democrat pedo-ring ‘conspiracy’ were doing it to harm Democrats, not Trump. If they believed Trump had anything to do with it, they likely would have kept their mouths shut about it. They are clearly just fine with him being a sexual predator. I can almost guarantee the response by the majority of MAGAts will be 'Well if Trump says there is no conspiracy, then there is none". He’s already acting as if this is ‘old news’ and that it’s a settled matter. You really think a significant portion of his base is going to even try to hold him accountable for this?

He is currently wiping his ass with the constitution, up until this administration most so-called conservatives have been adamant that the constitution is a fantastic document that should be preserved at all costs. Once Trump was like “the constitution doesn’t mean shit if it disagrees with me” what did they do? Did they demand he follow it? No, they did not.

Don’t get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to see a large percentage of his base flip on him and finally demand accountability for his criminal actions- I’ve just seen no evidence whatsoever that they are willing, able, or have the moral fiber to bother doing so.

I just looked the “Mole Children” thing up and it’s almost as stupid as it sounds like. I guess it says something about the quality of their conspiracies when I was expecting actual half mole half human hybrids.

How do these Q idiots reconcile the fact that neither Fox News or Donald Trump has said a peep about the story? You and I both know that if he had led a rescue of 35k abused children he would NEVER shut the fuck up about it. Yet he never brought it up even in his rallies where people unaffiliated with the news could have recorded him saying it.

  • mole-children under Central Park

WTF, lmao. God damn it now I’m going to have to look that one up.

now it just seems important towards understanding how we ended up with a fascist government.

I honestly think it has less to do with anything conspiracy theory related and everything to do with good old fashioned racism, bigotry, and hypocrisy. The only thing that could be considered a conspiracy theory type deal that contributes is “somehow”* a large number of so-called Christians have been led to believe that the U.S. was founded on Christianity. Well that and that Jesus would somehow approve of denying people healthcare and housing, the prison industrial complex, and hating foreigners.

    • by “somehow” I mean this is the line of horseshit that has been fed to them by pastors/preachers/priests. I’m sure they got together at some point and planned this out, so it would count as a conspiracy.

  • Plenty of MAGAs won’t give a shit, but I think they’re also more fickle and more likely to abandon him over something like his tariff policy fucking up their 401K.

Maybe, I highly doubt it though. He’ll just blame that on Joe Biden and the smooth brains will claim it makes sense.

This is just my gut feeling as someone who’s been following the Q movement fairly closely since the pandemic.

Out of curiosity, why would you follow the Q movement? Like, it’s clearly based on horseshit. Flat Earth theory seems almost reasonable by comparison. Seems like a giant waste of time to me.

  • Your comment for me reads as every legal immigrant is getting deported by ICE, not some but all

It’s a significant number of them so far and I see no signs of it slowing down. Perhaps the goal is to deport every legal immigrant? At any rate it’s enough of them to expose the lie that MAGAts have been spouting for the last decade that they “have no problem with immigrants, they have a problem with illegal immigrants.” Clearly that isn’t the case.

Besides even deporting just one LEGAL immigrant is one too many. Especially when they aren’t just being deported, but being thrown in foreign prisons/ possible death camps.

and as the US isn’t the only country that has immigrantants, it reads as false

I’m still not sure what you are getting at, what does other countries having immigrants have to do with how we treat immigrants in the U.S.? Other countries also have authoritarian dictatorships, that doesn’t mean we should have one here.

  • I don’t think they adopted him as in a legal process, I think they just pretended that he was their biological son. You can’t just go to the court and be like “We found a baby, can we keep it?”. They could have surrendered the infant to law enforcement and then petitioned to adopt it, but afaik this never happened the Comics, Movies or TV Shows (including the one Dean Cain was on). So while it’s true that he was a US citizen, it was because the Kent’s lied about his origin.

From what i read in some comic series he was actually birthed on earth and was able to run for president.

If you are referring to Kalel/ Calvin Ellis from Earth 23, he wasn’t born on Earth either. He was born on Krypton like the other Supermen.

The point that GaMEChld and James Gunn are making is that even if Kal-El was made a legal citizen he is still very much an immigrant (and technically an illegal Alien) and none of that matters one single bit. Being born on U.S. Soil to American parents doesn’t make you a good citizen and being born somewhere else doesn’t make you a bad one.

  • I would say make sure people have a clear way of becoming legal immigrants.

Right now there are legal paths to immigration, and that’s who ICE is deporting- people trying to do things ‘the right way’.

We should make sure the labor laws are enforced for everybody regardless of their immigration status, that would go a long way towards addressing the issue you are talking about. It’s not the fault of people desperate enough to accept being exploited, it’s the fault of companies doing the exploiting, they are what needs to be fixed.

Like I said, they will happily believe in a conspiracy theory if it fits their worldview or it helps them clown on ‘liberals’, but there is a difference between people online who ‘research’ conspiracy theories and take them super seriously, and people who get their ‘information’ from Fox news.
