Why would you say that?

I want to understand this as well. It’s the same type of people that are susceptible to other types of scams I think. Like thinking you’re dating a celebrity and you’re the only person they can turn to for financial help. So I sent my retirement funds to Pamela Anderson. We’ll move in together soon, she promised a bunch of times. She just needs a little more money and she’ll pay it all back plus the investments she’s been doing for me. So I guess people that want to believe so badly that there’s a super easy way to get unlimited money that all critical thinking just gets tossed out.
I have one. It has been a long time since it has seen use though. My collection of horror movies are DVDs and a handful of Blu-ray.
I have left some older systems on for extended periods a few times because I was either somewhere I couldn’t save and didn’t want to lose a bunch of progress, or games that didn’t have save capabilities and I had to stop playing for some reason. Other than that, they always were and still do get turned off.
I watched his video doing a walkthrough of the damage yesterday. It’s really sad. Not just his collection of all this stuff that he is so passionate about, but his whole house. So much damage caused by nature. I hope he’s able to get things back to semi-normal soon.
I’m ready to find out what real money is. This fake money is too hard to get.
That’s a really good point. Software emulation is fine for most people, but Analogue stuff is going to be as close to the original as possible plus having all those modern things that we expect now. I haven’t emulated N64 stuff very much so maybe there’s more complications than I was thinking.
I believe it’s probably slightly more for a used N64 in good condition, but your point is valid. I actually bought an Analogue Pocket. It’s a quality product, no question about it. I guess the appeal for that one for me is that you can get adapter to play whatever handheld cartridges in one system and the screen is way better quality than the original systems. An N64 though, I’m not as certain. These typically have an SD card slot so that you can run roms on them, but if you just want an emulation machine, there are far more cost effective options. I’d probably argue that the N64 model makes the least sense because the console was pretty reliable and didn’t have the read issues like the standard front loader NES.
I don’t believe Silent Hill 1 has endings based on number of saves or anything like that. It’s about items found and actions taken. So I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s not a particularly long game if you end up with a bad ending on your first playthrough. I know Silent Hill 2 has endings that are affected by like when you heal and maybe how you fight in the game.
Totally agree with this. I’ve been on and off the apps for years and they get worse each time I try again. There is a population of people that use dating apps like a game trying to get the high score with the points being likes and matches. It’s just another form of social media at this point.
Awesome. I appreciate that. I’ll pray to the battery gods that your cart still has all your save data on it. Most of my carts are still good. A couple Gameboy carts no longer hold save data, but otherwise all good. Someday I am going to look into replacing those batteries.
My fellow hair-impaired brothers finally get some justice.
I will have to check that out. Since it’s Japanese, do I need to look for an English patch or does the normal rom have English text?
I had one friend that had that game, I had WCW vs NWO Revenge, and then later on the pinnacle of wrestling games, WWF No Mercy.
Is the Sovcit movement founded on grifting? That’s something that is been thinking about recently. Because there are websites that sell fake plates and different things that these people buy. I’ve seen some videos where people are on the phone with advisors during traffic stops. Is this actually a business at this point?
It’s really sad knowing that this kind of corruption runs so deep.
Makes me think of the book House of Leaves.
I’d love to see that. I’ll keep an eye out for those pictures.
She’s super cute. Love the smile in the first picture.
Not the OP but I have read the book. It’s very unique and the story is told in some pretty strange ways. Parts are written backwards, in code, in the margin of the pages, etc. I think it’s a great experience and I’m glad to see it on that table. I’ve never read anything else like it.
