Their target audience also doesn’t care about facts so they never bother to check for themselves.

I agree and I also wouldn’t mind so much if the ads were in proportion to the length of the video and at natural breaks. I don’t want to watch a 30 second ad to see a 15 second video.
“Should we get our emergency brake fixed or use that money to try to fill in the remaining white space on this eyesore with more trump crap?”
Grouping a whole people into one ideology is pretty bigoted if you ask me.
I think we’re doomed to have it shoved down our throats way more frequently than that with their recent freak outs.
Couldn’t find the wheel lock?
All of them trolling too. I definitely wouldn’t talk to this person.
Someone with that many bumper stickers is always going to be the latter.
They didn’t train me to be a cashier, so how am I understand the nuances of the grocery industry when they’re asking me to do their job?
The company is using you to ring this stuff up so they don’t have to pay an employee to do it, so I’d just consider the difference in price to be my wages for the work they’re having me do.
Isn’t that what they say now?
If words flash in front of my face, I end up reading them
It never works like that for me; if the subtitles are on, I can’t distract myself from them whatever I do and end up reading every sentence.
I totally agree. The subtitles are so obtrusive that I’m unwillingly forced to look at them and it distracts from the video. They also completely ruin comedic timing. My wife, however, needs the subtitles on, so I live in a subtitle household now.
I’ve never had a problem generally understanding the dialog even with the terrible sound mixing, but the subtitles have ruined a bunch of jokes and completely block things I need to see on the screen very frequently.
Yeah, I just installed and paid for AdGuard pro, which blocks ads on safari. Doesn’t do anything for any Google app that I install but reading news sites is much better since I did it.
I used to push android over iOS until a few years ago when Google became just as bad as Apple, if not worse. I’ve been trying to steadily get rid of Google products that they’re probably just going to either stop supporting or discontinue altogether, or gradually reduce features that I use every day. I switched over to an iPhone because it offers better privacy and allows for ad blockers without having to root your phone. I don’t have any desire to go back even though I still think the android interface makes more sense for me. I also don’t care what color someone’s bubble is.
I’m American and wonder the same thing about these people.
I’ve been using it as my main search engine for around a year now. I accidentally used google today to look up “best screwdriver sets” and the results were all ads instead of results with screwdriver set reviews. I put the same thing in DuckDuckGo and immediately got relevant results.
