@Apollo2323 macOS same.
@LunchEnjoyer simplelogin == Proton
@HEXN3T Bitwarden connected to SimpleLogin does provide Email Masking - or am I wrong?
@Nelizea I know of course.
But development is really slow with Proton products.
So I don’t understand why smaller companies like Tuta or Fastmail are faster in development while not being unsafe (or it only does look like being safe).
That’s mainly my question about.
@dazo for proton it looks like it’s also hard to make Win/macOS tools, as drive and mail/calendar are more or less beta/alpha level tools.
And proton pass app is still missing as native app.
I think proton has too little resources for that.
Wondering as I thought they do have many employees?! What are they doing all day long? @Nelizea @nailoC5
@dazo thanks David for this detailed feedback. As you mentioned mailbox.org. Have you tried them? What made you choose Proton in final step? And those users you ported to proton. Is this because of business or private? @unruhe @Tutanota @protonprivacy
@helenslunch No - they don’t. They have their own Password manager.
Proton Pass is still in beta and lacks many features! Cannot recommend it!
Better use 1Password, Bitwarden, Strongboxsafe or Apple’s Passwordmanager.
Proton Pass maybe will get his time - but not now. I think it needs 1 or 2 more years to become feature rich and stable.
