Why does the iPad 9th Generation and original Apple Pencil still exist?!

They look like last year’s models.

Not sure it will compel me to upgrade. Still have my series 7 and I feel like this form factor has been mastered. Could use more battery life but it gets me through a day of heavy use.

This is the reason….I didn’t know there was a difference between Active and Hot but there is. Still getting used to differences from Reddit! Thank you.

Okay… now I feel silly. This was the issue. I just hadn’t thought of “Active” and “Hot” being different, but that was the issue.

Why would they want to do something for free for a company that shows them no appreciation? This is the right move.
