When your carbon offset burns down, are you still carbon neutral? I keep buying donut offsets, but I am still gaining weight.

If I was next to her and knew about this post, my introverted self would suddenly be the most chatty asshole to ever fly.
Multi-breadbasket crop failures coming soon to a planet near you. You thought people were awful when they had to endure inflation and quarantine? Just wait till you see them when they don’t know where next meal is coming from.
There are some games where if you don’t do the side quests, you find yourself under leveled and struggling. Happened to me in Witcher 2 even though I thought I had completed all of the side quests in an area. Had to go back to the previous area and grind some more.
The WW2 term for them is collaborator.
This reminds me of how I got permabanned from reddit.
I guess I will have to shop at Kroger because their self-check makes me suspiciously hostile. I don’t know how theirs is so much worse than other stores, but if never fails to piss me off.
The best part is that this study doesn’t even account for environmental destruction. It is all based on running out of various non-renewable resources. Our environmental destruction is just a bonus.
My first car, a 1976 Chevy Malibu, that I inherited from my Grandparents. It looked awful. Was amazingly underpowered. Handled poorly. But my biggest complaint was the butterfly valve on the carburetor. When the temperature got “cold” the valve did not contract as much as the housing around it. Consequently, the valve would stick causing a bad air-fuel ratio that would make the engine stall. I put cold in quotes above because I lived in Houston at the time and the weather is never actually cold. GM took 700 lbs of weight out of the Malibu in the two following years without making the car any smaller. The huge V8 engine only developed a nominal 160 HP (or something like that) and only managed 12mpg. The plastic pieces on the interior cracked and flaked off.
Modern cars are so much nicer and more reliable. I almost feel grateful for that heap because it helps me appreciate the improvements we have achieved.
Also wage slaves don’t need education that might make them strive for a life better than creating excess value for their owners.
Interest declined when they discovered the immigration process was non-trivial. I checked into Canada back in 2016. Didn’t bother this time. I think a lobotomy might be the answer. It would be nice if I could just have my empathy surgically removed.
I see the bullets in the Connect app as well.
Sorry we gave a bunch of rural hicks way more of them than they deserve.
Some friends of mine told me I would like it because I would be able to relate to Sheldon. I watched one episode, and now I wonder if those friends don’t like me and were intending to insult me.
If we are talking emoluments,I am less offended by Alito taking a title than Trump spending over $135M of taxpayer dollars on various trips to Trump hotels. Nothing ever came of that, so I bet we know what will happen here.
I use VsVim when I use VS, but I do most of my code development in Vim. I use VS for a particular product that I support. It works well enough that I can’t complain to much, but someone else much more knowledgeable about the tool set it up for me.
My primary development environment is a centos7.3 virtual box with various options (Eclipse). I mostly just use raw gdb because I have been using it long enough that I don’t have to think about it too much and it’s pretty portable knowledge.
I had a Microsoft Tivo competitor that worked with DirecTV in the early 2000s that I really liked. Visual Studio and VS Code aren’t bad for what they are. The Zune was pretty awesome. I have had some good times on all generations of XBOX.
I guess what I am saying is that despite my hatred for MS, they haven’t been completely awful. Definitely not in the Comcast and various phone companies (I would like to single out Verizon for being particularly scummy) tier of hatred.
As someone who has done some hand coding of AVX-512, I appreciate their willingness to take this on. Getting the input vectors setup correctly for the instructions can be a hassle, especially when the input dataset is not an even multiple of 64.
Let’s not omit that he got fined $300k for ethics violations in 1997 and was found to have accepted 1.7M in bribes (calling them what they are) from Freddie Mac shortly before Freddie wrecked the economy.
Ride, not be ridden by? Does he know? I don’t think they fully understand his intentions.
