Microcenter doesn’t sell fridges, unfortunately. However, I have been pretty pleased with them since Fry’s is out of then picture. That was a rough couple of years.
Some less tired viewers have correctly pointed out that the “warranty” was added for a price and discounted in the cart, as well as free delivery. Perhaps, if you don’t find the UI misleading like I did, this isn’t a bad thing.
Back when they introduced their marketplace, I found an extremely good deal. Thinking it was too good to be true, but cheap enough to say “what the heck,” I bought it anyway. Fast forward a week and I received a completely different item than what was described (no surprise, to be honest) in the listing. Naturally, I reached out to customer service for a refund because the item I received was not as advertised. To my surprise, Newegg refused to refund me the whole amount even though they acknowledged the listing was essentially a scam, so I back charged through my credit card. Then, they banned my account. I had been an avid supporter of the company and built many computers from things purchased there, up until that complete joke of a refund process.
Newegg died the day they sold out way back in the 2010s, screw that horrible customer service.
m the same IP address? Cause some places check for that kind of thing.
Yep, didn’t bother playing any games, same IP.
That was great!
Wow that’s a blast from the past.
I love the tone and excitement in this update, what a gem of a development team!
I’d like to chime in and say that there are some great pieces of advice here, thanks for being good, Lemmy!
My advice for conception is to just enjoy your partner. Don’t make it work, go on dates, use foreplay, make it fun, and you’ll build memories as well as a stronger bond. Always communicate with your partner, that makes everything better, even the uncomfortable things, just remember to be kind.
Un fucking believable.

Yeah I hear that some people like to keep the bus pullups closer to the host. The other gotcha is that the voltage for the I2C doesn’t have to match the VCC pin and I didn’t want to assume that users would want those coupled together. Perhaps I can add some DNP resistors so users can have a choice of a pull-up on the dev board if they like.
Naturally, just like a making a pull request, I found that my annotations were incorrect for the LEDs (it doesn’t functionally change the schematic) after posting. My intent is to have all odd LEDs on U1 and even on U2 so that when I place them in a circle it’s easy to make usable patterns with one controller at a time as I learn how to use animation engines.
This update causes my Jetbrains IDE to randomly crash several times a day, it’s great. Also my USB hubs wouldn’t work this morning until I power cycled everything a few times. What fun!
Thanks for sharing!
Hard disagree, fold 4 gang.
I can’t speak for the flip, but the fold 4 is fantastic. I can’t imagine going back to a slab
Aww I didn’t even know there was a Rock Band 4, I would love to play that series again but I can’t find the band in a box anywhere, and based on the news, they’re sunsetting the game too. How lame.
Yes, that’s why I said bus. I was simply starting discussion around what you can do with a bus, thanks for your help!
That’s really cool, I’m interested to see what people can make with this. As far as gpio, there’s just one I2C bus, is that right? If so, that’s still plenty for a weather station and tons of cool projects.
Oh for sure, they really went to crap the last few years.
