Yes, a buffer built into the rental price (“inflated” is a loaded term; rents can be inflated, but a rental price set to cover mortgage and amortized expenses isn’t by definition inflated), but it’s still stable.

Renting over owning is a more stable outlay (no “surprise, you need a new water heater” expenses for renters) and it gives flexibility for moving with any kind of frequency. I agree that home ownership should be more attainable and affordable, but it’s not a clean win 100% of the time for everyone.

Just a small point: Mountain Top / Recluse was what prompted sunsetting. Breakneck had already been long nerfed by that time.

Large network transactions (like an initial download when transferring phones) are a lot “kinder” to the hardware if you’re pulling through the port rather than running the wireless radios. There’s enough activity on the SOC already, can keep excess heat down by not needing the WiFi pumping at hundreds of MBs as well.

It’s a great (the best?) looter-shooter. You can invest a lot of time if you’d like, or just kind of skim. The gun-play is incredible, both design and the sound direction contribute to make every one feel unique.
