The Shards by Bret Easton Ellis, it drew me for the first 70 or so pages, then it’s pretty slow for the next 250
Stokes not being able to bowl makes it tricky; so probably be a straight swap Bairstow for Foakes
Chaos Monkeys was pretty good, he came across as an asshole but still enjoyed it
Been buying from Rave for a couple of years, I get their Discovery subscription. It’s always excellent
England seems like a mates club now. Foakes’ face doesn’t fit, or he’s pissed them off somehow…. Presumably by not playing golf.
