I’d argue that 5-10% are some of their most valuable users though. The creative one that make models, run YouTube channels or influence purchasing decisions for schools or businesses. Voron has a huge name in the business without spending a penny on advertising due to those people. While they make the best bang for the buck printers out there right now, they can be easily knocked off their perch if they’re not careful. What open source hath given them, open source can taketh away. e.g. look at all the upcoming multi filament solutions in the works.

If a protest were to happen in DC at perhaps a military parade… it would look an awful lot like an insurrection for some people. If only someone were planning something like that soon.

Voron 2.4 and a Bambu here. My voron is rock solid at this point, but definitely more work into it. It’s big and warming up the plate definitely makes me less likely to use it over the Bambu. I’ve learned more about everything from the voron though, so the question is, what’s your goal?

As someone caught out by this, most of us had speakers and windows had volume controls as well. They’re kinda useless to have super low volume, so the tendency was to turn the speakers up and have windows control it. (what could go wrong? mine was always set low in windows, this was before lots of ads on browsers would randomly come on too) Fortunately everyone thought it was the guy in the cubicle next to me, with about 10-15 heads popping out of cubicles in our direction.
