@lcars84 @virtualreality Yeah, that’s a whole other thing and I completely agree we should find alternatives sooner rather than later. But this is for existing projects that need to be done, and unfortunately VRChat is where people want their avatars to be, because that’s where all their friends are. (And sadly it’s not the first time we’re having this discussion, if you remember the whole anti-cheat thing…)

@epicEaston197 @eurofurence I’m not sure yet. I’m a little bit anxious about the idea, but I agree it would probably be useful. If I end up recording it, I’ll share it here of course!

@ArchieBAntlers @eurofurence I’m not sure - I know of at least two furry Lemmy instances, but none for Kbin.

I do plan to mention Kbin together with Lemmy - one of the big points that I’d like to show people is that the Fediverse is made up of lots of different platforms and they’re all working together, so often it doesn’t actually matter that much if you use one or the other.

I should probably still do a bit more research on Kbin, it’s just… a lot of stuff to cover already.
