  • That NASA has done a zero-gravity intercourse experiment.

The 50th shuttle mission had married couple and it included spacelab. A pressurized and habitable module that could be isolated from the rest of the crew. Even before launch they were asked if it would happen, and denied it, as NASA has afterwards as well.

It doesn’t help that several of the listed experiments was about human health, developmental biology and included animals and eggs to study ovulation, fertilization, cell division and growth.

Never mention numbers in regards to sci-fi, fantasy or comics. It will always lead to nerds deraling the conversation and debating the accuracy.

Case in point: The “Enterprise” is the name of multiple ships that have max warp capabilities ranging from ~7 or less to way above 9.9. (The warp scale is different depending on the setting, but in general it’s logarithimic with 1 basically being light speed and 10 being instant travel to the point of seeming like teleportation. So once you go past 9.9 it starts getting exponetially faster, at alarming rates.)

  • Control the weather. Target individuals. How can anyone get this stupid?

Most of the out-there conspiracy people just don’t understand something(in this case climate change), and invent/attached themselves to a fantasy where they’ve “seen through the lies” and everyone else is wrong. A lot of them actually know deep down that they’re wrong, but ironically they don’t want to be seen as stupid for admitting they don’t understand. That’s why they love using phrases that indicate non-believers are dumb, followers/sheep, or that deniers just don’t understand, etc.

TL;DR: They’re too stupid to realize they’re acting stupid.

  • will there be huge power plants just dedicated to AI all over the world soon?

Construction has started(or will soon) to convert a retired coal power plant in Pennsylvania to gas power, specifically for data-centers. Upon completion in 2027 it will likely be the third most powerful plant in the US.

The largest coal plant in North Dakota was considering shutting down in 2022 over financial issues, but is now approved to power a new data-center park.

Location has been laid out for a new power plant in Texas, from a single AI company you’ve probably never heard of.

    And on it goes.
