Can someone eli5 why emule stopped being used, if people liked it so much?
The way I see it, soulseek is focused on sharing smaller files and niche stuff to a small community. For large files, or things with a large audience, other tools would be better suited.
I use soulseek quite often. It’s a good source of books and pdfs too.
You just have to talk and explain everything. Oh, wait…
A lot of those kind of bots don’t even use ai. They just grab someone’s photo on the internet and go with it.
Maybe we need a technical questions and answers siteon the fediverse!
It’s a metaphor for us killing ourselves in the processes of deforestation, not a story of someone actually making a coffin.
The saddest thing is that he didn’t learn anything from it and continues to support his previous ideas…
Even that isn’t enough, because of the SNI, right? One would need to also use encrypted SNI.
Sometimes I feel like an alien because I care for insects and avoid killing them. It’s like no ones else in the world cares for them :(
Doesn’t apply to all, unfortunately. For me, it has been a mess. My life is a constant fight for survival, because even simple things, like eating, are difficult for me, and at the end of the day, I have barely any time to do anything that i want to do in life.
Thanks for the nice community. I’d like to give a small suggestion: to use the link format !community@server instead of the full https link in the relevant communities section in the sidebar, because it makes it easier for people to click on and subscribe themselves, even if they’re from different lemmy instances.
Example: to use [email protected], instead of https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected]. The first format will work for people from any server, but the second one will only work for people from lemmy.world.
How do you know?
They tried to fix it, but gnome didn’t allow to customize the comment
