It’s like subscribing to a YouTube channel if you understand that. Some people consistently post interesting content so by following them, you will never miss out.
The problem for me is that everyone use Meta stuff so it’s either lose out in making connections with other people or giving up privacy.

No, Fedora makes their own (though they also include GNOME defaults at least in Workstation)
I know this is a side topic, but is it just me or Fedora linux used to have stunning default wallpapers but they are gradually getting worse?
Arch linux but once I have the opportunity, I will probably switch to Fedora again. Benefits of Arch isn’t that worth it for me
How this is good for Mircosoft though? It makes sense if they want to do it opt-out, but the only reason why I can think of they don’t want it to get removed at all to sell data

This is what I did, and it did its goal in making me comfortable using Linux. However, like what others suggest, live USB is probably much more easier honestly.
