thanks for info and pointing out it’s in the FAQ!
where’s that RR logo from?
I took it as the total reverse.
yes, you and everybody else, it seems
you’re right. but I didn’t expect everyone to have the opposite impression of what I had at first glance
am I the only one who understood this as the dude claiming the burguers flippers being the skilled labour, as in, trying to show solidarity?
the main way i get music files (320kbps mp3) is through the Soulseek network, which many commenter have mentioned. what has been left out is the best client to get into that network, that is free and open source software, which is Nicotine+. it work on any desktop OS
torrents are still valid but you won’t find many artists there

I wouldn’t call it a “scam” just manipulative marketing
the difference?
yes, they do (redmi the same as other xiaomi phones) and that’s an important thing I left out.
I did create an account long ago with an alias email that i’ve used for the unlocking of several phones’ bootloader. it also requires a phone number for “verification” when you start the unlocking process, so for anonimity you’d need an unregistered burner phone number
so it does leave a trace in their books
in case you go for a cheap new phone, around here the best option are some Redmi ones. recently got a Redmi Note 9 and slapped LOS on it for a friend, for about 170€. since none are very recent models, sometimes I had to spend a good time searching for them in shop stocks

i was still on the outdated OpenBoard, this is great. i’m using it right now
there is a fork with proprietary dependencies removed called Signal-FOSS, whose repo you can add to F-Droid if you decide to trust it
came back just to mention an app I found in F-Droid, You Have Mail, for the sole purpose of providing e-mail notifications when your client is unable to provide them, as is the case with de-googled Proton users
omg, thank you. i just learnt about the “tags” function that I’ve always assumed worked differently without even trying it
Feeder is a perfectly functional RSS reader for Android, and the only updated and straight forward one on F-Droid when I decided to set up my feeds, and an app I’ve seen suggested on Lemmy several times when there’s mention of RSS…but why doesn’t it have groups? I’ve got my general news mixed with tech news, cluttered in between the rest of it - it does have grouping and it’s called “tags”
this thread made me re-check and there are some new options in there and at least one will let you group the feeds: Read You
EDIT: dumb take
I wonder about Kyocera, because I haven’t yet used one but I did have a rugged phone that took all kinds of serious beating and drowning (like actually being thrown full force into the wall/ground and spending the night in the rain) and still turns on to this day
and my experience with other brands of printers was never stellar. Brother was the less bad one, even though the one I used the most. HP was awful
all of this was inkjet, though. I have barely used laser in some offices but the one I’m furnishing now asked for one, which I also thought was the best option for durability and reliability
that’s perfect, thank you so much! I’m currently reviewing each tool. I’d heard about Klein Tools and now that I look at them, they seem solid
actually, I’ve only recently learned about pass-through heads as I’ve never used nor seen any. was hoping the VDV226-110 Crimper could do both but it’s not the case. I’ll probably go for a standard one for now but will keep an eye out for pass-through heads
I found also the VDV226-107 as a standard head crimper but on the shape of the 110 instead of the classic 011. both also act as stripper and cutter
