@luana@tech.lgbt youtuber Dikko has a great playlist called ‘Modeling for Animation!’, which I highly recommend. I learned a ton from it about modeling humans.
Blender does also have on their website a free downloadable file with human base meshes - a realistic and a stylized one. In some cases it can be worth grabbing those and adjusting them.
